What’s Included: Thorough Annual Inspection
Each agreement starts with a comprehensive yearly inspection. Our team checks everything from shut-off valves and sink connections to toilets, tubs, water heaters, and outdoor hose bibs. We test water pressure, inspect supply lines, and even perform a basic water quality test.
You’ll get a full map of your plumbing system and recommendations for seasonal prep, weatherization, and DIY upkeep. It’s a proactive approach that helps catch small issues before they become big problems.
Added Value: Discounts, Priority, and Warranty
Agreement customers receive priority scheduling and a 20% discount on all plumbing repairs — even after-hours calls. You’ll also get emergency shut-off support 24/7 and a one-year No-Hassle Warranty on all work and parts purchased through Homestead Comfort. Plus, each renewal earns you $25 in upgrade credits toward new fixtures or equipment. It’s more than maintenance — it’s a partnership built around your comfort and confidence.

- Locate, tag and map the location of your home’s main shut-off.
- Visually inspect the main shut-off.
- Inspect all sink connections from the shut-off valves to the taps, checking for leaks.
- Inspect all drain traps for evidence of leaks.
- Inspect toilets and bidets for leaks, condensation issues and proper functioning.
- Inspect shower and bathtub valves and fixtures for leaks.
- Inspect water heater connections and shut-off valves.
- Perform a basic free water test.
- Test water temperature.
- Inspect outdoor hose bibs, seasonal valves and hydrants. *
- Assess waste disposal unit.
- Inspect the condition of all accessible supply lines.
- Inspect the shut-off for your washing machine.
- Inspect water hammer arrestors.
- Test water pressure.
- Inspect potable water distribution system for leaks, where visible.
- Inspect branch valve shut-offs and tag where applicable.
- Recommend weatherization, such as caulking, relocating, insulating and supplemental heating for your domestic water supply.
- Recommend additional DIY maintenance.
* Outdoor hose bibs, hydrants, etc., does NOT include irrigation systems beyond the branch valve from the main supply. Seasonal start-up is included in your annual call, and a second service for winterizing must be scheduled before November 15.
